How to use

01 FILL
Pour the concentrate into the bottle and fill with room temperature water.

02 SHAKE
Give it a good shake for about 15 seconds. The concentrate will dissolve.
You may notice concentrate separates from water when left a few days. Simply shake to dissolve.

03 USE
Spray on coat avoiding eyes. Work in thoroughly with hands or a hand towel.

04 REPEAT
When you run out rinse the bottle and refill again by starting with step 01.

PRECAUTIONS:
For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult vour veterinarian. In case of contact, flush eyes with water and seek medical attention if undue irritation persists.

Triethyl Citrate
Triethyl Citrate is an ester derived from citric acid and ethanol. Citric acid is a natural compound in citrus fruits like lemons, limes, and oranges. Aloe Vera Juice / Aloe Barbadensis
Aloe vera juice is a natural anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, humectant agent that soothes irritated skin and provides relief from itching caused by allergies or dryness. Its high water content (>99%) hydrates, moisturizes, and rejuvenates the skin. Its addition helps to calm and comfort your dog's coat, making it an ideal ingredient for sensitive dogs.

Pentylene Glycol
Pentylene Glycol is a synthetic chemical that is majorly found in cosmetic formulations. It's a versatile hydrating agent that brings numerous benefits to your dog's coat. As a potent humectant, it retains moisture within the skin's cellular layers, helping to lock in hydration and reduce dryness. The presence of natural preservatives like pentylene glycol in measured amounts is proven beneficial. This property aids in preventing the growth of microbes and other harmful elements in the product, thus elevating its longevity.

Vegetable Glycerin / Glycerin
Glycerin is a humectant that draws moisture from the air and deeper layers of the skin, making it an essential ingredient in coat sprays for dogs. It helps lock in moisture, reducing trans-epidermal water loss and preventing dryness. This keeps your dog's coat healthy, shiny, and manageable.

Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside
Cetearyl alcohol and cetearyl glucoside are gentle emulsifiers that balance product formulations while softening skin and repairing its natural barrier. They help to enhance the moisturizing properties of the spray, making it ideal for dry or damaged coats.

Magnesium Aluminum Silicate
Magnesium Aluminum Silicate (Smectite clay) is an effective emulsion stabilizer that can help absorb excess oil and sebum from your dog's coat, reducing shedding and leaving their fur feeling silky smooth.

Cetyl Palmitate *Plant Derived
This thickener and emollient helps smooth and condition dry skin by chemically combining cetyl alcohol with palmitic acid. Its addition enhances the product's ability to absorb quickly into the coat while leaving a non-greasy, soft finish. Cetyl alcohol is typically a type of alcohol derived from either plant-based oils or synthetically produced. However, it was formerly obtained from spermaceti whales and dolphins. Palmitic acid, on the other hand, is a saturated fatty acid commonly found in plant-based oils.

Xanthan Gum
Xanthan gum is a highly effective thickening agent that prevents ingredients from separating, ensuring an even distribution of deodorizing and conditioning agents throughout the coat. Its addition also enhances the product's texture and stability, allowing for easier application and absorption.

Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride
Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is a cationic conditioner that helps repel dirt and debris from your dog's coat while leaving it feeling soft and manageable. Its ability to neutralize negative charges makes it ideal for detangling, smoothing, and relaxing the fur.

Silver Citrate, Citric Acid
Silverion 2400 is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent that rapidly kills bacteria responsible for body odor. Silverion 2400 provides a broad spectrum antimicrobial activity and is effective against unwanted skin bacteria (especially cornybacterium) and pathogenic micro organisms. Its addition helps control and eliminate pet body odor, ensuring your dog stays fresh and clean longer.

Using our Aroma Free formulation as our base, we’ve created Earth; a Patchouli and Lavender essential oil blend that are of earthy/spicy notes accented by soft Lavender for a floral finish.

Triethylcitrate is the triethyl ester of citric acid. This citric acid ester reduces the build-up of unpleasant odor by inhibiting the odor-producing bacterial enzyme. We're not masking the smell, we're neutralizing it.

Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride comes from the Guar bean, it is a great conditioning agent for both skin and hair but especially beneficial as a hair care ingredient. It is positively charged, so it neutralizes the negative charges on hair strands that cause hair to become static or tangled.

Packed with antioxidants and vitamins, aloe vera juice benefits the skin as it comes with many skin-healing and moisturizing properties. It’s anti-fungal and also works as a natural insect repellent against mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas.

An absolute must have for all dog owners! I cannot rave about this product enough! From the incredible smell to the design of the spray bottle, this product definitely deserves more than 5 stars!

The smell is so light and refreshing, not too overwhelming at all - I want to use it on myself!😂 The ultra-fine mist and continuous spray is amazing and makes it so easy to softly and evenly spray my pups in just one spray!

This is definitely a staple in my furry household and I will never stop recommending it to all pet parents!❤️

Finally the scent I don't react to!

As a first-time dog parent, one thing I was most worried about getting a dog was the odour! I'm thankful that Lilah hardly gets super stinky because I'm allergic to many scents, and finding a hypoallergenic deodorizing product has been impossible. Enter Barkus! At first, I was thrilled by the unscented option. Then, I was even more ecstatic when I discovered that I didn't react to the scented options either! Our current favourite is the Earth scent. I also love the spray bottle that allows you to spray evenly across the length of Lilah! One spray keeps her smelling earthy and fresh all day long.

With Barkus, Lilah and I can explore the Canadian wilderness and enjoy all the snuggles without the stink!

I LOOOOVE the smell!!

I was/am a huge essential oil person and it smells divine. I love patchouli and all things earthy - which is prob why I love this one lol. Citrus is okay too - but def that earthy dirt smell is amazing lol. So good!! I wanna use this earth spray in my diffuser 😂
