Yes. With honest expectations. The Kosmo 04 is built from premium, food-grade materials designed for real daily enrichment use. Over time, the rubber ends and nylon body will show wear. When they do, you simply order a replacement part from barkus.ca. The steel core is built to last the life of the system.
Peanut butter (xylitol-free), Greek yogurt, pumpkin puree, wet food, freeze dried, or soft kibble. We recommend mixing fillings across both ends for added enrichment variety. Freeze for best results.
Depending on your dog's size and enthusiasm, a frozen Kosmo 04 typically provides 45–60+ minutes of enrichment. Larger or more enthusiastic dogs will work through it faster.
The Kosmo 04 fully disassembles for easy cleaning.
1. Un-twist the Flap off and remove the Cone
2. Place a few drops of dish soap along the Cone and the Screw.
3. Twist the Cone and Screw a few rotations so the soap has evenly distributed within the seam.*
4. Twist the Flap back on the Screw just enough to have gap.
5. Turn toy over with the Flap resting on top of a cloth on the counter.
6. Push down on Flap until Cone “pops” loose from the Screw.
7. Clean parts with soap and rinse thoroughly.
*Lubrication is key to remove the Cone from the Screw
All components are dishwasher safe with no hard-to-reach crevices that harbour bacteria. Hand washing with dish soap and water is easy too, make sure to thoroughly rinse.
